Identical in shape to the Konnex bar thus far, we have now slimmed down the Konnex thin bar in line with the requirements of sport ponies and thoroughbreds. At only 15 mm thick, the thin Konnex bar is just right for pony lips as is the likewise proportionally slimmed down port. The Konnex thin bar is also recommended as a dressage bit for horses and ponies who cannot take a thicker bit in a double bridle with a bridoon. The pony bits are supplied with side parts correspondingly reduced in size!

The Kimblewick bit is an effective combination of a lever effect on the branches of the horse‘s lower jaw, pressure on the poll and change of position of the bit inside the horse"s mouth.

The loose ring means that the bit moves more in the mouth. The loose ring snaffle is therefore a bit for horses who prefer a more mobile bit. The ring runs very smoothly in the copper sockets, and the resulting better durability increases the life of the bit. In choosing the bit, one can also address the horse"s requirements.
