LR Bar Tongue Port Snaffle 18 mm Beris
    60.98 €

The tongue port bar has a specially flattened shape to the port. This means the tongue has an optimum amount of room. Many horses respond to this with improved suppleness and increased chewing. This bit is also very well suited to horses that play with their tongues, trying to put the tongue over the bit, as the port effectively prevents this. Therefore this bit is eminently suitable for horses that do not tolerate conventionally shaped bits due to the pressure on the tongue and react with head-tossing and the like. The loose ring means a greater mobility of the bit in the mouth. This snaffle bit is therefore a bit for horses that prefer a "more mobile" bit in their mouth.

LR Prime Snaffle 18mm/7.5cm Extra Soft Beris

Beris PRIME sets new standards in communication between horse and rider. Due to the correct anatomical shape of the extremely soft mouthpiece, the pressure is equally distributed on the tongue and bars. The integrated oval bit guards with carefully shaped transition to the middle part prevent pinching of the horse‘s lips and additionally provide good lateral support. The loose ring means a greater mobility of the bit in the mouth. The loose ring bit is therefore a bit for horses that prefer a "more mobile" bit in their mouth. The ring runs very evenly in the copper sockets and, due to the better durability, increases the working life of the bit considerably.

Identical in shape to the Comfort Bar, just the thickness is a lot thinner at 15 mm. This makes the bit an ideal one for ponies and horses with limited room in their mouths. Very successful in use as a dressage bit on horses for whose mouth a thick Weymouth bit and bradoon would be too much.

Konnex bar, thin. At last our beris Konnex is also available in sizes 110, 120 and 130 mm! Identical in shape to the Konnex bar thus far, we have now slimmed down the Konnex thin bar in line with the requirements of sport ponies and thoroughbreds. At only 15 mm thick, the thin Konnex bar is just right for pony lips as is the likewise proportionally slimmed down port. The Konnex thin bar is also recommended as a dressage bit for horses and ponies who cannot take a thicker bit in a double bridle with a bridoon. The pony bits are supplied with side parts correspondingly reduced in size!

Form and function meet design! Our new single and double-jointed plastic mouthpiece is particularly slim in its dimensions - a broad contact surface and low height ensure more comfort in smaller horse mouths. The surface of the plastic is very smooth and slides well in the mouth, even when horses produce little saliva. The mouthpiece lies on the tongue and lips with its broad contact surface and subtly transitions into a smoothly modelled and rotated, fitted olive shape. Pinching of the lips is impossible! The joint and also the central piece is processed very finely and then adapted to the minimal height of the mouthpiece when fitted. The copper sockets fitted into the side olives enable an almost resistance-free, smooth sliding of the bit rings.

Our new single - and double -jointed plastic mouthpiece is particularly slim in its dimensions - broad contact areas and a low height ensure more comfort even in smaller horse mouths. The surface of the plastic is very smooth and slides well in the mouth, even with horses that produce little saliva. The mouthpiece lies on the tongue and lips with its broad contact surface and, with its smooth profile, subtly merges into a rotated, fitted, olive shape. The joints and middle piece are finely worked, and assembled so as to match the low height of the mouthpiece. Horses accept leather bits exceptionally well. Leather is a purely natural product, it promotes chewing and also the flow of saliva. The bit slides easily in the mouth thereby increasing well being. The processed leather has been vegetable-tanned and hand stitched. When moistened, the anatomically pre-shaped bit adjusts perfectly to the anatomy of the horse"s mouth. The loose ring means that the bit moves more in the mouth. The loose ring snaffle is therefore a bit for horses who prefer a more mobile bit. The ring runs very smoothly in the copper sockets, and the resulting better durability increases the life of the bit. In choosing the bit, one can also address the horse"s requirements.
