Beris PRIME sets new standards in communication between horse and rider. Due to the correct anatomical shape of the extremely soft mouthpiece, the pressure is equally distributed on the tongue and bars. Konnex bar, thin. At last our beris Konnex is also available in sizes 110, 120 and 130 mm! Identical in shape to the Konnex bar thus far, we have now slimmed down the Konnex thin bar in line with the requirements of sport ponies and thoroughbreds. At only 15 mm thick, the thin Konnex bar is just right for pony lips as is the likewise proportionally slimmed down port. The Konnex thin bar is also recommended as a dressage bit for horses and ponies who cannot take a thicker bit in a double bridle with a bridoon. The pony bits are supplied with side parts correspondingly reduced in size!

The eggbutt bar is a universally deployable mouthpiece, it sits very quietly in the horse‘s mouth and the eggbutts effectively prevent pinching of the lips. The bit fits perfectly in the mouth due to its slight curve. Pressure on the rein alters the angle of the bit in the mouth and, due to its special design, produces an increased effect on the bars and tongue. The shaped transition from the mouthpiece to the bit rings prevents pinching and additionally provides the bit with particular lateral stability and hold. The shape of the bit is particularly suited to working with young horses.

Providing the combined effect of a port and the positive characteristics of the butterfly bar, the profile of the beris KONNEX bar is slimmer and it positions itself very comfortably in the horse’s mouth. There is also more room available as the port in the beris KONNEX bar is significantly wider. Suitable for horses with little space in the mouth e.g. thoroughbred types or older horses (due to change in tooth alignment), horses with large tongues and, in particular, ones sensitive to pressure points on the tongue. The bit sits perfectly in the mouth due to its slight doming. Pressure from the reins alters the angle of the bit in the mouth and its special shape causes an increased effect on the bars and tongue.
